The University of Mississippi Medical Center expanded its healthcare footprint in Ridgeland, MS, with the development of the Colony Park South Medical Office Building. As part of this new construction project, Independent Roofing was selected to provide roofing services for the 33,000 square foot facility. The goal was to deliver a clean, energy-efficient, and long-lasting TPO roofing system, aligned with the needs of a modern healthcare environment.

Solution

Independent Roofing installed a fully adhered TPO roof system over tapered polyiso insulation. The insulation was carefully designed to promote positive drainage toward internal roof drains. Shop-fabricated coping and edge metal were also installed to complete the watertight perimeter detailing.

Results

The project was completed successfully, and the client was pleased with the outcome. The system is now backed by a 20-year warranty, ensuring reliable performance for years to come.
