Project Overview

Independent Roofing was selected to restore and upgrade the roofing system at Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. The project included both a tear-off and re-roof of the sanctuary and newly constructed canopy areas. The team replaced the aging shingle roof with a durable standing seam metal system and installed new TPO roofing over the canopies.

  • Installation of new ¾” plywood decking and high-temp Ice & Water Shield

  • New Fabral Thin Seam Standing Seam Metal Roof, trims, gutters, and downspouts

  • 060 mil Carlisle TPO roofing system for new canopy structures

Results

The project provided a long-term solution for the church with improved durability, appearance, and drainage systems. Completed in 2025, the job delivered a modernized, low-maintenance roofing system well suited for both worship and gathering spaces.
