Amite County’s Vocational-Technical Complex was experiencing severe roofing degradation, with recurring leaks affecting classrooms and equipment. Independent Roofing was brought in to replace the aging system during the school year — avoiding disruption to staff or students while delivering a modern, energy-efficient solution.

Solution
- Existing TPO roof was removed, and a new Polyglass Modified Bitumen Roof and insulation were installed
- Overlayed the existing metal roof with a new McElroy standing seam roof, roof huggers, and added insulation.
- Wall panels were replaced. All panels were formed onsite, including the 100 ft sections.
- New curbs for the rooftop equipment were made, including 12 new skylight domes that were installed.
- Delivered full site cleanup and warranty documentation
